King Charles hopes to be a middleman between sons Prince William and Harry, helping diffuse any further drama, reports say.
Over recent years, much publicity has been paid to chronicling the fallout experienced by royal brothers Prince William and Prince Harry. An argument between the pair reportedly took place in December 2018 and since then their escalating feud has been coined the ‘royal rift’. The distance between them has been addressed in numerous interviews, but of course, it can’t be easy for King Charles to hear of his sons not being able to put the past behind them and embrace their close bond as brothers, both having been through so much together.

King Charles hopes to play ‘peacemaker’ for Prince William and Harry
Charles, whose reign began in September 2022 following the passing of his mother Queen Elizabeth II, reportedly hopes to perform as “peacemaker” between his sons William and Harry, helping them settle the feud for good.
The New York Post reports he hopes to act as a middleman of sorts during their first encounter and meeting for some time. This comes in the wake of reports that the royal sons are determined to “put the past behind them” and revive their bond.
“It is very likely that Harry and William will see each other next month and anything is possible,” former royal butler Grant Harrold detailed to Sky News Australia.
“The King will want the brothers to patch things up, so it’s more than likely that he could play peacemaker.”

Prince William and Harry could patch things up as early as May
According to sources close to the Palace, Charles has given Harry his blessing to meet with William in an attempt to settle their dispute.
The source, who was close with Charles for several years, added: “[Charles] may get everyone together for a dinner or reception, but it does depend on all their diaries.”
It’s currently rumored that Harry will venture to London for the tenth anniversary of his Invictus Games organization at an anniversary service believed to be hosted at St Paul’s Cathedral on Wednesday, May 8th.
It remains to be seen whether he’ll make the event, and also whether he’ll return to London with his wife Meghan Markle and their children.
