Patti McGuire is an American model and television producer, worked predominantly in Hollywood. She was a big name of modeling industry during 70s and even mention of her name used to draw fascination. Patti was born on 15 September, 1951 and raised at Dexter, Missouri, United States with her younger brother and two younger sisters.

Miss McGuire who became a sensation in the field of modeling was her High School’s Homecoming Queen also. Before her big break as a model, she juggled at the Playboy Club in St. Louis as a bunny and a student at Southern Illinois University, where she majored in Political.

Playboy Bunnies get hired to serve as waitresses in Playboy Clubs. Coincidentally, her modeling opportunity came knocking at the very heart of the club she used to work. She became playmate of the year 1977 but before that she was on Playboy’s magazine as Playmate of the month in 1976. She was awarded by Alice Cooper.

A year later, Patti went on to appear on Playboy pinball machine back glass in 1978. She posed with Hugh Hefner and fellow Playmate Sondra Theodore on the issue that made history for interviewing Jimmy Carter, who won his presidential bid. Later, more than 18,000 pinball machines were bought.

Patti McGuire fell in love at first site with tennis champion Jimmy Connors. At the height of his career, Jimmy Connor was one of the greatest tennis players in American history. Not many accomplished athletes are drawn to playboy playmates, but Jimmie was enthralled to meet Patti during one of his visits to Hugh Hefner’s mansion. They have two children- a son named Brett, and a daughter, Aubree.

• Patti is alive and kicking and is currently 69 years old. She was reported to be living in Santa Barbara, California in March 2009. Now she is hard to trace and away from limelight and glamour of which once she was a reigning queen.
• Longtime friend of Candace Collins since the time they were both bunnies at the St. Louis Playboy Club.
• Patti experienced infidelity; in his new memoir “The Outsider”, Patti McGuire’s spouse, Jimmy Connors, gets candid about his relationships. Apart from opening up about his struggles with dyslexia and gambling, the former tennis star revealed that he cheated on his wife. Confronted by divorce, Connors begged her for forgiveness. After getting a second chance from Patti that saved their marriage, Jimmy insists he has never strayed again.
• Patti met her beloved at Henry Hefner’s mansion; being one of the most popular personalities in sports, Patti McGuire and Jimmy Connors used to patronize Hugh Hefner’s mansion. During one of the parties hosted at the establishment, Patti spotted Connor, accompanied by a fellow playmate. It turned out to be love at first sight that quickly blossomed into marriage months later.
• Apart being a successful playboy model, she was also a film producer.

Patti was privileged to grace several advertisements and TV commercials. But her success would later prove to be in film production. Cinema opened the doors where she appeared in a 1977 film, Starsky and Hutch on Playboy Island. McGuire’s primary area of interest has been in film production. While serving as an assistant producer, she helped put together films like LA Confidential (1997), The Bird Cage (1996), You Again (2010), Batman Returns (1992), Tigerland, and V.I Warshawski. Besides, she played a part in the production of The Forbidden Dance and NYPD Blue, which focuses on law enforcers in New York.

• She was a fan of Lynyrd Skynyrd, whom she saw in concert.

Patti- Marriage and Divorce

Patti and Connor both married after meeting for few times in 1979 and after fice years of marriage, they filed for divorce saying the couple’s marriage has been ‘irretrievably broken.’ In an emergency divorce petition filed in Dade County Circuit Court, Mrs. Connors asked for custody of the couple’s 3-year-old son, Brett David, and possession of the couple’s south Florida condominium.

But, they survived infidelity and divorce storms to come out once again as two lovers, never willing to be separated.
