Travis Kelce ‘snaps up $6m mansion’ for Taylor Swift’s privacy
The Kansas City Chiefs star is said to have bought a new home in the city, after being spotted with Taylor Swift, setting him back a whopping $6m, TMZ reports.
Sources tell the publication that the new pad is “way bigger and more secluded than his old house, and is reported to be in a “gated community with 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and over 16,000 square feet of living space.”
If that wasn’t enough, the publication reports that there’s a pool with a waterfall, a mini golf course, and a tennis court. Fancy!
However, sources say that it wasn’t the extra sporting equipment that made him move, although we’re sure that’s a bonus.
They report that the star needed more privacy, ever since he started dating the All To Well singer, sources tell TMZ his old pad “was simply far too accessible, and was starting to become a tourist attraction with people swinging by and staking out the place,” making Travis uncomfortable with the situation.
The news comes after Taylor reportedly loaned her New York apartment to Sophie Turner, as she was going through her divorce from her former husband, Joe Jonas.
The NFL star is asked if he ‘feels like Taylor’s bodyguard’
It’s clear the 34-year-old is protective of Taylor and their relationship, and lately, a video of him ‘ushering’ her bodyguard out of the way, and opening the car door for her himself went viral.
He then answered a question from his brother Jason, on their podcast, New Heights, on whether he feels like a bodyguard when he’s with the singer.
“I feel like whenever I’m on a date I’m always having the sense, like, I’m a man in the situation. I’m protective,” Kelce replied.
